Guys I have launched a dating and travel forum recently but it seems to me something missing there, in terms of topics or even is too much of something.
I would be greatful if you have though any ideas what can be changed to make it more attractive, thanks!
Allen is right, you definately need a logo for your site. Another thing I would suggest you do, is change the colour scheme. The default one you have at the moment is really boring and not very welcoming. Have a look at other dating sites to get some ideas if you are not sure.
Hello. I must agree with the other two posts. A logo is a must, change the colors and (I'm not sure if it's possible with phpBB--never used it) but I think you should also include your site's navigation bar linking the BB back to your main web site.
Much like HTML Center, for example, they include the standard navbar, logo and search field at the top of the forum. This, in my opinion, "integrates" the forum into the rest of the site.
having a forum site is great but consider your website... make sure taht it is well equipped and with he seach and navigation bar, logo, link page and other necessary thingie
