Hi All-
I am an amateur, having used MySQL scripts to generate
everything I have ever needed to get the job done here in my position of Ops Managers @ a Wealth Management firm. Thing is, I have an idea that is too big for my britches. I'd like to take an inhouse solution to the web and offer it up to the "masses" as a small-to-mid $ web application.
I have a cluster of probably very inefficient MySQL scripts (authored in SQLyog) which are executed via Batch files on my desktop. The sole product of these scripts is a highly customized HTML file which - and you'll have to take my word for it - has a lot of value for an unfortunately very small niche market. This is
not going to make anyone (including myself) rich, but there could be possible revenue$ if it'$ done right.
Frankly I don't have the time to learn everything, and I don't think I need to. At the same time, I don't want to have it done for me - I would like to participate in the build, and I am totally willing to learn. If you know how to useuse Yahoo's Web Hosting Enhanced php/mysql to, I would interested in sharing my idea with you. Bonus if you're here in the San Francisco North Bay - Marin County specifically.
Best-
