Angry Need PS/HTML TM Help ASAP Please

OK, I have a TM Template. Ive edited my .PSD files like I want them.
When I go to save via "Save for Web" everything updated like it should (slices, images etc.)
But when I go to view the HTML file that it outputs, the file doesn't stretch to 100% anymore.
That is... The patterned border is no longer there and I have a white space from top to bottom on the right side.

Am I screwing up the tables in HTML or something? I thought he HTML would be intact as I'm only saving the images via "Save for Web"
How do I fix this?

Seems my other TM templates are the same way so I must be missing a step somewhere.
The PSD file is smaller than the original site/index-1.html file (766px instead of stretching across the screen)

Thanks for any input guys!

Do you have a Web address we can visit to see the problem site? Just leave off the "http://" from the beginning of the address, so it doesn't get rejected by the spam filter on the forums.

I would have to assume the white space is due to the image not being properly applied via the background code.

If you do not have your page online yet, can you post a screenshot and your code?

Here is how it comes out of PS via "Save For Web"
johnzieglerlandscaping.com/test/01-home.html

This is the example HTML that came with the template. Its supposed to look like this
johnzieglerlandscaping.com/test/t/index-1.html

All I did to the PSD file in the first example is save to web

Talk about nesting tables... there must be a bunch of birds in there!

Just by glancing at the code, I can tell you there has to be an easier way to code it. And considering I am not on my personal machine with all of my software, I am very limited as to what I can do. Notepad just 'aint that much fun to do serious modifications with. However, to start off, remove align="center" from the first table or change it to "left."

Honestly, that is a horrible template. The number of tables and colspans and rowspans is enough to make my head spin.

However, the problem appears to be that you are missing an outer table or something, that would allow the main area to be centered on the page and would extend the white background to the right.

Whoever designed that template needs to understand [and start living by] this concept:

You guys are funny
Yeah, this is a Template Monster Template. Go figure. They have probably been using the same structure since 95, just revamping it. I decided to just widen the PSD to 1024, and use a matching background. At least it looks better than being crammed in the upper right. Good enough for my purposes I suppose. Someday I actually need to learn all this stuff, thnx for the replies guys/gals
