Ten-321 Enterprises Phase I

I am in the process of completely redeveloping my Web site, and have created a design mock-up of my latest idea. Please let me know what you think of it and what you might improve before I start slicing it up and converting it to a Web template.

My current design can be seen at http://www.ten-321.com/. I don't like the current design (or the content, frankly) at all. As I said, I'll be completely and totally redeveloping the site from the ground up.

I hate to say this but I don't love it. I am more business guy tho so I might not be the best to review this. It's an improvement over the current site.

I would change the menu links to be more business-oriented, the script just doesn't cut it for me.

The gray bg is a bit boring and there is a lot of it - maybe a softer gray?

And what is the element behind the main section? I can't make out what it is.

Otherwise it's looking good.

Those are all very valid points.

The element behind the main section was a copy of the logo icon I designed. I'm going to scrap that element anyway, as I realized just how much weight that single image would add to each page.

I've uploaded a new mock-up with some more color, a lot less gray, and I've exchanged the script for Calibri.

Comments on this new mock-up?

What do you think of my logo icon? Is it decent? Any suggestions on it? What about the font I've used to write "Ten-321 Enterprises"? Any fonts that are personal favorites of yours that might improve the way that looks?

I was thinking the same thing.

I've reduced the size of the nav items in the top bar, and I'll probably start slicing it up tomorrow.

Hopefully I'll have time to get it implemented as a template this week, and then start digging into getting CAGCMS ready for a beta release next weekend.
