This is a fast HTML site for my Web Design II course. The professor is asking it is all be "coded" in X/HTML format. I'm still working on the frames. Mine you I hate them I don't use them..

Um... First of all, the colors make it extremely difficult to see what you've put on your site. I can barely distinguish the text from the background.

Secondly, and I'm guessing you probably already know this, your form page doesn't validate, because whatever program you used to code the site replaced your opening form tag with something like "Provisional users can't create forms".

Finally, if you hate forms, and you don't use them, why are you using them?

ya.

my professor wants it...
like the frames..
forms are good.. if you have the programming ability..
She wants us to go semi old school and hand code most of the things.. Told us after the project was turn in.
I may lighten the color of the font. Like I said .. it is the blah site.

jazzy - i want you to give your teacher my name and email - i would love to discuss with her why she is asking you to code frames. unless she has not been on the web in 10 years.

Blah - Blah - Blah!

Gosh, it has been that long.

It is in the CIW book. To prove we can code it and have it work.. My thing is now... getting the frames to work in the pages called up directly and to get it to refresh right.. I can't do a good X/HTML webpage just by code alone. It needs have good graphics and things.. but again this is the 3rd redo..

Why in the world are you telling us to download the fonts??? I can guarantee you that 99.9% of your visitors will not have those three, so it is probably not a good idea to do that. Who wants to go to a Web page and need to download/install fonts (then re-open the browser and go back to your site) just so we can see what the designer sees? That is one thing that Flash is good for!

Commonly known as bullet list in the Word Processor.

This is seriously a Web Design II class?

Server/databases for two chapters.

If you have not already figured it out... go ahead and rip out the FrontPage pages, tear them apart, shred them, and then set them on fire. Then when your teacher starts to talk about it in class, plug your ears and start singing out loud.

Okay, I looked at the second one now, and that looks quite a bit better!

The "Home" page is kind of empty... can we get a couch or a TV in there?
Jello Guild: thank god I am not epileptic!!!
Where did you get the list of bands? Seems like such a narrow spectrum so far.
The graphics are a little too small in my opinion. Maybe make those thumbnails, and after being clicked, they open a bigger version.
You're down at TAMU?
Resumé could definitely be improved.

That's my two cents!

if your instructor has you do ANYTHING in frontpage, could you please have him or her call me asap. thanks

i mean i know that schools are behind the real world, but that would be like teaching kids today that the berlin wall is still up or that we are about to go to war with vietnam.

Thanks for the laughs.

The second one was the first one I turned in.. She did not like the lack of "coding". So, I added a little... hence the first "crap" design link. I turn that crap in last night. Just waiting.. Personal... anything is better than a zero..

The band website.. was like ages ago.. but does prove I can "code"..
Though she would not accept a link to an old site to count..

The course(s) uses this company. http://ciwcertified.com/ . You can see the stuff we are learning..

Funny

I think I did okie for a few hours of head banging.. I have not hand coded websites in years... I was working on web graphic courses for the past couple of years....

I may fix it.. I think I'm beginning to like Dreamweaver...

And I prefer to do my own work even if it look as crappie as that site does. =^.^=
