Talking www.site418.com starting up

Really still developing the site, but I've got it in good working order right now.

Was inspired by coworkers who repeatedly came to me because they couldn't seem to locate basic stuff on the Internet, or needed to perform tasks that they had no idea how to do.

As long as I've been surfing the Internet and building pages for others I've come to understand there are an incredible number of people who have bought high dollar computers and programs and really haven't the slightest clue as to where to start when it comes to utilizing them.

Aside from offering up basic tips and tricks, this is basically my own little chunk of the internet; half blog, half informational and entertainment.

Suggestions are welcome; please, though, constructive critism is always more widely received.

I appreciate feedback, thanks.http://www.site418.com

It's very nice. Nicely laid out. Not too much going on. Friendly to many different screen resolutions. Nice color scheme.

I also like the fact that you have HTMLCenter listed as a resource on the left-side of your main page, but I'm just curious why they're not listed as a resource on your "scripting" page.

One more side-note: I am happy to see you promoting PSP 9. It is a great program. I've been a PSP fan-boy for a long time, never really understanding why people made such a big deal over PhotoShop. I think PSP is just as nice as PhotoShop, and it's a good bit friendlier.

I think that since your splash page is centered - maybe you should look at centering the whole site.

I almost forgot about the splash page; I'm thinking about ditching that entirely.

I've had to stop and start so often on this site the look and feel that originally wanted has evolved and shifted.

Ditched the Splash Page

When one starts out that Splash page always looks so smooth and slick... Then you realize it's just getting in the frickin' way, not to mention seriously obstructing search engines from finding your site.

The splash page is history; or at least until I get another "fantastic" idea for another one.
