Free Hit counter?

What is a good free hit counter or what do you use? Are there any good ones that supply other information about the visitors as well, such as browser type or screen size?

Thanks a lot!!!

If you don't have access to your own logfiles, then try sitemeter (http://www.sitemeter.com/). You have to put some code in every page and it looks quite neutral.

If you have your own logfiles, you are best off with awstats (http://awstats.sf.net) or a webalizer (http://www.webalizer.org) processing your log files. They both make some nice statistics. Most webhosts offer either one, I personally prefer awtstats.

Hope this helps,
Till

There's also the infamous "counter.com". Maybe check it out, if you want some digits displaying your visitors.

There's also numerous commercial solutions, such as webtrends and urgin. Till mentioned only the "free" ones.

Hope this helps,
Tom

Try http://www.statcounter.com/

I've tried several; it's the best I've seen.
