Free FTP Client that has a scheduler

I currently have to upload a Access Database file everynight to my web server manually. I am looking for a free ftp client that has the scheduler built in. I am running Win XP Pro. Thanx

WS FTP Pro (http://www.ipswitch.com), for sure. Or maybe Filezilla (http://filezilla.sf.net).

Hope that helps,
Till

free ftp scheduler

FileZilla does not schedule, the ipswitch ftp server is not free.....

I don't think there is a free ftp scheduler. But I would sure like to know if there is.

Maybe you could do something with Windows' own scheduler.

Basically, you just need to find a free command-line FTP client, and write a batch file with the appropriate commands. Then, use Windows Task Manager to set it up.

With windows (or virtually any other O.S. (Mac OS X, Linux, Unix, ...), there is a free CLI ftp program. For example, on windows, fire up, "Start" > "Run" > "cmd.exe". Then you get a shiny dos(-like) prompt. Type "ftp" (followed by <enter>) and you are ftping.

Code:
open ftp.server.com
Other useful commands are put, ls, mkdir, rm, close, quit and so on. Also try help.
