DNS SERVER Help

My broadband isp gives out dynamic ip's but i want to serve my own DNS without using sites like dyndns.org.
I know the ip range which is used by the isp and need to know is it possible to setup my DNS server to use this ip range when dealing with requests for the domains on my server.
When i say my server i mean future server,i am still getting used to all the security issues and other possible problems before going live.

www.everydns.net

They run DNS for you and you can even setup dynamic DNS. They have a small client that does it.
