IPB Forum front page Block

Hi:

Has anyone here used IPB Forum for programming before? IPB (and almost every other forum) has Links to control panel when user is logged in.

What I want to do is when user is logged in, I want to show list of all the blogs for THAT user beside "My Control Panel" link.

How can I pass information to those blocks? I am also planning to create few more things and I want to add this type of things for those too.
