Firefox / IE war on my computer

I am having a spacing problem between Firefox and IE. I have two elements in a battle. I have everything lined up the way I would like them in Firefox but in IE they are off.

My layout is such that I have a floated div holding my navigation and a div holding content next to it. A large problem off the bat is that I have to give a top-margin of -20px to get it where I want it to be in Firefox and cannot seem to figure out why. Also, I believe one of my problems is that I am having trouble getting the floated div to be allowed to overlap the non-floated div. I am using .png files for my buttons and don't know if that could be a problem, they also are not showing as transparent in IE. I want an image in the floated div to show up as overlapping the non-floated div.

I have uploaded the site to http://embinder.sipsandchews.com if anyone wants to see the code.

Hope that wasn't too confusing.

Thanks for any help!

Erich

Can't access the link, but try to position your div in an absolute way (position:absolute in CSS) and see if that works for you.

Your site isn't working for me either. Here, take a sheep.
