Real estate site

I have been aproached to do a site for a lady selling real estate.
She would like to be able to show some of the properties she has to offer, and add and delete as properties come and go.
She wants to be able to do this herself on a regular basis. what method would you all recommend bearing in mind she knows nothing of html or web design!
I know there are some nice costly program options out there is that the only way?

Thanks in advance!

Unhappy

I would highly recommend designing a format for everything that she can agree on, and then create a template with editable regions from that. It would probably also be a good idea to make a page explaining the basics of coding so she can do it on her own. I did a site for a professor who knew nothing about HTML, and now she can edit the basics on her own from what I provided her!

Maybe you can also give her the link to this site so if she gets really messed up, someone here will surely know how to fix it!

Do some research on CMS (Content Management Systems). It sounds like that's exactly what you're looking for.

Hi,

well, you can have a database in backend and an admin section to maintain the properties which will be controlled by admin username and password. and will be only accessible by the agent. If you want to do this as a paid project, well i can do it.

To Introduce myself, I am Darshan from India, web developer working in this field since 3+ years and you can visit my site: www.TheWebXpert.com

If you are interested, let me know your budget and some more details.

Thanks,
Darshan

Thanks for all the thought and suggestions.
The budget for this project is very small.
are there any Content Management Systems that are free or inexpensive???
Otherwise the editable regions idea may be my only option.
Thanks again Ken
