tables in firefox

hi guys,

i need to get a table to stretch top to bottom, left to right in firefox. the table needs to have 3 rows: the top 140px high, the bottom 22px high, and the middle row fill the remaining space.

tried as i might, firefox does not stretch teh middle row over teh remaining space, but makes it as big as teh content i put in it (via an iframe at teh moment).

is there a way? what i am after is a consistent bottom edge to the page, containing links to contact, legal, etc details.

please see the table example mentioned in teh post above. in the meantime I also tried to get it to workl with divs, you'll also find it in 'test' at that URL, with teh CSS 'test.css' belonging toit.

hey, never mind I found another solution. I am going to pu tthe whole page intoa fixed size box with a border, that looks teh cleanest alternative...

still would be nice to find out if what i intended actually works...
