Looking for a good Guestbook

When I migrated my site to a new server I lost the old guestbook (Extropia) that my web host had pre-installed. I'd like to find a new, better one; preferably something that I can customize to match the look and feel of my site. I prefer open source/free software, but I might be willing to pay a reasonable amount for the right solution. My non-negotiables are: NO ADS, unless I add them myself for my own reasons and my own benefit; and I want to be able to quickly and easily delete any SPAM entries.

Any suggestions?

Have you considered using forum software rather than using an actual guestbook application? You could install YaBB on your server and use it as a guestbook.

I suppose I could; I just completed a setup of phpBB 3 on another site. I've been wanting to add a discussion forum to my streamliner site for some time; the only thing that's been scaring me off is the spammers. On the Moon Society site I at least had some volunteer moderators; on my streamliner site I'll have to start with just me.

That's why I would recommend YaBB over phpBB. YaBB has proven to be a lot more secure than phpBB, and has much better spam control.
