if you would base it on the price, i think dreamweaver is a lot more expensive. well, i could be wrong...but what i'm saying is that they pretty much do the same thing so why not go for something cheaper. however, if your concerned about the quality of your work, use whatever is more comfortable for you.

TopStyle Pro is definitely the way to go when working with CSS, decpite it's outrageous price (well, you can find a discount at Froogle or http://www.deprice.com/topstylepro.htm but it's not much).

My 2 cent
Hey,
I'd go with dreamweaver,
because I use it(and love it) I feel it makes me more creative because I can see what i'm doing while i'm doing it, and I don't have to click anything to see it, it's just there.
So i'd recomend dreamweaver,
if you haven't already, downlad a trial version, test it and love it.
But if you wan't a ide that's as good as homesite, google html gate free,
It's a good pice of software, or I reacently found aptana and I really like it too,
more than html gate free, oh and aptana's free too.

Personally I have only used Dreamweaver. So I can't really comment. I actually used CoffeeCup purely for the codeing window.
The main things I like about coffeecup is the extra tools, like the html valiator colour schemer etc.. all in a simple use GUI. That is why I don't use a standalone text editor.

UEStudio / Homesite
I've been a Homesite user since the mid-90's, and I've recently finally migrated to UEStudio. In the last 2 weeks, I've been going back-and-forth between UEStudio, Homesite 5, and Dreamweaver. Tonight, I've come to the conclusion that UEStudio will be my new, permanent editor of choice because of how light the program is. (Yeah, leave the memory hog to the other programs I have running while I develop -- such as Photoshop and SQL Enterprise.)
During my recent search, I also downloaded Microsoft Expression (their latest Frontpage). Ugh, talk about memory hog and too much to learn just to code.
By the way, UEStudio is great when you're coding in java and C++ as well.
It will take time for me adjust to the shortcut keys that I'm used to using with Homesite.... we'll see how this works out.
