Incredible Findings About YaBB Support
I just thought I would share this informal study with everyone here.
Quote:
You may have noticed the Support Team has removed their level structure and are one big happy team now. As always, we could use more help in the support forums. But as I did many months back I released my YaBB findings on the quality of support on this forum in a measurement of time. The average time for a reply to be made in the 'General Usage and Feature Troubleshooting' board to a question. Without further ado, the average time is takes for someone to reply to an original post made in that board is....
97 minutes
Sounds pretty good to me. I can justify that even further by saying that if it's a pretty common problem with a common solution, as about 75% of the posts in that board are, the time can be significantly reduced. The fastest 75% of replies were done in just
under 30 minutes
with replies being made as fast as 4 minutes and 50% of replies made in under 10 minutes. To me, that's incredible. Hats off to the support team and everyone in the community for helping out.
[hr]How the "study" was conducted: I went to pages 2, 4, and 6 of the 'General Usage and Feature Troubleshooting' board and clicked on the first 10 posts of each page that weren't locked. Giving me 30 random posts over a time period of 30 days.
