html over flash

hi...i have a swf file embeded to an html page. i am trying to get an html layer to drop over the flash on a mouse over. The html is already coded with a simple display:none / block toggle. I can get this effect to work with all browsers but firefox for the mac. I have wmode set to transparent, and still no luck...ideas?

Umm, I think the obvious answer is do not use a Mac!
