Removing Picture

i have a few jpeg files with the word Proof written across them...
those picture are of my child done y a proffessional photographer
but unfortunateley this guy has pasted away and i have no way of getting my photo's apart from the ones that he published to me via the internet, i was wondering
how do i remove this without damaging the file or picture
is there a program that can help me do this?

The photographer would have left his works to someone else. This message is VERY familiar like its been done a few times on this board already.

Contact the person he left his work too, they will get you what you need.
