html in flash

Is it posible to show a html site inside a flash document? and is it posible to take the text from a txt file and use this inside the flash document?

im not sure about the html page in the flash -- but using actionscripting you can easily include a txt file inside flash - we do it all the time at work...

You have to assign your HTML code to a text field with property html = true. And so on. I think there's also something called "htmlText" or whatever. If you open Flash and type "foo_txt." in your Actionscript window, it should give you a list of supported functions for the text field.

yes, it is possible to put html on flash...its pretty much the same as putting something from a text file...its like loading variables except that the text files contains html...so you will put your html on a dynamic text box in flash...but you have to set a certain property for the text box to display html...i've done this before, but its been a long time, i dont quite remember the details...i think theres a tutorial for this.

html within flash is very limited, it supports only few tags. it says in the help file:
"The following HTML tags are supported in text fields: <A>, , , , , , , and ."
so i think its hard to show an whole html site within a flash document.

to take the text from a text file and use it inside the flash document, you will have to use LoadVars object. I think... but im not sure as i generally use LoadVars to load variables and not a whole text.

supports but not limited to these things...you can also include links on an html in a textbox...but yes, it might not be able to show all html stuff...but it works well on the basics, including links.

im designing a flash site for my friend and i know how to inport txt documents in to my flash but wat i dont know is how to get the text aligned to the middle its always right aligned

also i been having trouble with paragraphing my text it seems to not like them

example

i use a title and the try to paragraph so i can start my text then i save and test out my flash

i get the information i want but it isnt how i want it displayed

have you tried setting the alignment of the textbox on your flash document (.fla)? like try setting the alignment settings of the textbox to center to align the text at the middle...i think this could work, unless you tried it already and it didnt.

Does flash macromedia support importing html tables in falsh macromedia? I have being trying to diplay a table in flash from, front page but it's not happening, can somebody help

Are you trying to import the page or the tables themselves?
