how to make a ipb forum?please help...
hi i'm new here so if i post this thread wrongly here so sorry.

i wish to make my own ipb forum,and not those free ready make ones...
so can anyone please teach me,cos im still an idiot in computer stuffs...but i love IT alot...
please help me out and thanks alot...!

Well, first of all, you need to understand that IPB is not a free forum software. You have to pay for a license in order to install your own IPB forum. If you would like to pay their licensing fees, then I would suggest going straight to the source and asking for support.

There are, however, quite a few free forum software packages available to you.

Personally, I recommend YaBB (which is the first one listed there), but everyone has their own preferences.

The nice thing about IBB is, you can start with a free version, and pay for full souce code and all features, if you really need it - later.

That's true. However, the poster already said he doesn't want one of the free IPB boards.
