IE 7, 8... 9 (Hmm, I am hungry)

I just read the following article from CNN about IE 8, Microsoft Unveils Internet Explorer 8. I have not jumped on the bandwagon to use IE8 because I highly prefer FF, but has anyone here heard any details about the article's final note?

I've heard that about IE9 rumor else where, but I've never seen anything that confirmed or denied it. There was also a rumor about vista being the last OS microsoft was going to make but that was false.

I've been using IE8 for a while now and I'm fairly happy with it. I've been having issues with FF not loading webpages (browser will start the load and hang)

But weren't they getting sued for doing that?

in Windows 7+, IE will no longer be integrated into the OS, you will have the ability to uninstall it completely unlike current builds of windows.

Hey, fr@nc!z, I agree on your note of IE [finally] being like Firefox; I noticed not so much ridiculous spacing on one of the pages of my site.

But one thing I noticed that I thought was pretty stupid is the fact that when you highlight a word and get the "fastrack" menu... there is zero mention of Bing. You would think that they would have put two and two together, right? I guess the version following 8.0.6001.18702 will have that built in.

EDIT:
Another thing I noticed is that sometimes the page loading can be pretty slow. Has anyone else come across that issue?
