Help! IE is messing up my table!

Ok, I just finished a site http://baard.com which works in every browser I have tried except IE which is making the middle cell way too big. This is my first time with html, please help!

I looked at in in both IE 6.0 and Firefox 1.5, and it looks good in both browsers.

It appears that it's been fixed. I looked at the page the other day in IE, and it was really badly messed up. It looks just fine, now.

I'm curious - what was the problem?
