Question I.E. 6.0 mouse over indent elimination

Hello,

I have built a navigation bar and on it I wanted to have a ON - OFF state for mouse overs.

In Netscape it simply (as I desired) loads the ON image upon a mouse over and into the same position as the OFF state image.

In I.E. it not only loads the ON image but also indents the ON image this causes the Navigation bar to appear broken (does not line up) unattractive since the seperate images that make up the navigation bar cannot have a clear boundry line, so it looks terrible. I would like to be able to instruct I.E. to drop that indenting. Is that possible?

Can anyone please tell me how to stop this apparently default action with I.E. 6.0

Thanks in advance!

I would check if the width and height is set correctly, that there is no border specified on the image or maybe any weird divs or layers in the way that would cause it to go nutcase.

Then again, I second Allen's request for a link, cause that is all my globe came up with.
