I've got the hurt on for a new HoTMetaL version too!

Here's what I love about it: Tags on wysiwyg.

It is so easy to edit a page when you can see both the layout and the tags on one screen. You can see exactly what is going on. Click on a tag and select properties and tag editing it easy. Except for the program being buggy, resource intensive, and garbling up my php code, it is very easy to use.

I'm trying out DreamWeaver MX right now. It is so difficult to edit in wysiwyg (design) mode. I don't know where I am tag wise. I can edit the source code of course, but as an intermediate webmaster, it's not easy/fun. Going back and forth on different screens (code and design view) is a pain. If DreamWeaver showed where the tags are, while in the 'design' mode, it would be great!

My most recent version of HoTMetaL is 5. Is 6 much better? Can it handle my php code without trying to convert it to html when I use tags on view? If so, anyone willing share it?
