Hi Allen

I have been using HMP for years. I started with version 2 and I can code like crazy with it. I can do some hand coding but without my HMP I just can't function. Plus I have web sites already built that I used HMP to code and I need the program to keep those sites in good order. Nothing else I've tried works like HMP. There's just so much more versatility with HMP than with Dreamweaver or Front page. It's a huge gap in performance - at least for those of us who "grew-up" coding with HMP. You would be amazed at what I can do with HMP and there just isn't anything else on the market that even approaches it to my knowledge. And even if there was another program close to HMP on the market I just dont think the versatility and wide range of things I can do with HMP that come with years of experience and skill development using the software can be matched - not even closely matched. I've known for almost 10 years that HMP was the absolute leader by far in an editor. And I'm still growing with it. As far as problems some people have had with PhotoShop and HMP - there are always ways to get around "things" - maybe they didnt load their image files into the proper directory for transfer back into HMP or something. I have found that ArcSoft and other programs and even PhotoShop works just fine with HMP after you get the "hang" of it and learn how you need to transfer images to get them back into HMP for use on sites.
Also, I spent over 5 years coding a site that is so far advanced that comptuers have just now become fast enough for the site to be launched onto the internet and I did with HMP and it could only have been done with HMP. If not for HMP then I would not be a senior level web developer/designer/producer. I just simply cant live without it.

Now that I understand what Corel did it makes me sick. Corel just decided to destroy the competition either for themselves or third parties by shelving HMP and it's really a huge mistake for Corel. I for one will never purchase or refer another Corel product or service - never ever. I did notice after Corel took over there were alot of problems with getting responses regarding HMP as in no responses whatsoever. I had developed an entire course to teach HMP and had people waiting and the Corel ceo would not even answer my many numerous emails and calls and I lost the whole project because of him. I even pleaded for a response with messages letting the Corel ceo know that I am wheelchair dependent and that I desperately needed to speak with him about certification for HMP and a couple of other issues and getting a student price for the software. He never even had the courtesy to respond even once so that tells you what kind of a person he is and evidently what kind of people his assistants are. Corel didn't even make an effort to keep HMP on the market because evidently someone - whether Corel or a third party - wanted HMP destroyed for their own benefit or the benefit of another company. Evidently Corel just decided from the get-go to destroy HMP. The software developers who developed HMP are so far ahead of everyone else it's pathetic and as far as Im concerned Corel is a complete sham for destroying HMP. I sincerely hope that the developers of HMP will put it back on the market even under a different name or company - I would buy all versions for the rest of my days without one moment of hesitation and without regard to whatever has come out on the market in terms of editing software. Nothing can or will ever compare because HMP is simply too far ahead for anyone to catch up significantly. I really can't say enough great things about HMP because I know what it can do with an experienced user and it's truly amazing and advanced.

If you or anyone else knows where I can get HMP version 6 please please email me. It feels like I've lost my right arm without HMP and I'm at a dead standstill and can't function properly until I get another copy of version 6. I don't really care about the site manager - it's the HMP6 editor I desperately need.
