Pictures.. what to do?

I have several websites made for our company. I'll use this as an example:

http://www.sonaliurbansafari.com

What they want is a way to click and view items in larger detail along with the style number and color. What do you suggest I do?

Originally I was going to make a link to the program Gallery 2 through MySQL which I am hosting on GoDaddy, but their service is horribly slow. Sometimes taking up to 20 or 30 seconds to even respond! GoDaddy says it isn't a problem on their end, although I've tested this out from 3 seperate locations, two in NJ one in NY. All of them are slow!

We have another account hosted with Yahoo! Small Business which is faster, but our database isn't enabled and my employer wants me to write up a whole business proposal just to get our network consultant (who is the one with the password) to enable it! That's ridiculous. I'm not writing up a business proposal to outline what I want to do when I can just explain it to your face in 2 seconds... and it was something that someone in the office requested me to do!

I'm not saying the websites I've designed are the best, but you should have seen the old one they had up before I came here.. the colors were horrible, the background graphic was low-res blown up large so you see all the pixelation, etc.

While I'm here does anyone know a progam I can use to make flash catalogs easily? I know places like Best Buy or Circuit City use them sometimes.. they pull up every page of the current circular and let you click or hover over items to view them larger.
